as others have said, I don't think that your VP$IP and PFR are too big a leak. it's like, once you're ready to add more hands, you'll see where you can add them. my transition from 16/7 to 18.5/10 came from more isolation raises, more blind steals, and more BB defenses. but very few people (8 tablers excluded) have the problem of playing too few hands.

I would look at my stats by position as a possible place to loosen up. for example, my button Vp$IP is around 25.

Also, by posting hands you'll see where you need to go to showdown more. 27 WtSD/56 W$aSD is +EV, but not really optimal. should probably be more around 31-32 and 53-54 IMO.

but they look pretty good overall, any aspirations of playing 1/2?

As far as my WtSD goes, it seems to me that whenever I make a questionable fold and someone else calls the raiser down, 9 times out of 10 they tend to show exactly what I suspected they had. On the flip side, I have been taken off a couple pretty beastly pots by people playing nothing at all. I can't help but feel that it's saved me some $ overall though.

HU I tend to call down an overwhelming majority of the time. With an overcaller behind me though, I generally feel that one of them has me [censored]...

I'm thinking about playing $1/2. It just feels so cheap to move up when I know I'm not playing optimal poker. I think I make the obvious plays about 90% of the time. However, the unobvious little equity edge raises (bottom pair, overcard, BD flush draw) tend to be mucks for me especially when I'm 4-tabling.

Having said that, I have about 7k hands of the rockish hell that is the Crypto $1/2 under my belt and am beating it at a decent clip finally. I'm gonna add a few of the suited one gappers at .5/1 and make some other adjustments and move up in about 3-4k hands...

B - 18.81/7.2
1 - 18.98/8.15
2 - 16.81/8.43
3 - 16.27/7.38
4 - 15.58/7.64
5 - 12.91/7.21
6 - 12.65/7.15
7 - 14.53/8.21
BB - 9.68/5.19
SB - 27.51/7.13

My BB numbers look a tad pansy. And it's a bit odd that my button numbers are not my loosest/most aggressive...

Yeah, look for opportunities to loosen up and be more aggressive in CO/Button.

It doesn't look like you're taking advantage of your position with preflop raises. I've seen it posted here before that your PFR% on the button should be about double what it is UTG. That's been working for me. To get used to the idea of more raising with position I focus less on the cards I have and more on what the other players will fear I have. Besides, cards I deem "mediocre" are often the best anyway. From your previous posts it sounds like you (like me) tend to give people credit for having superior hands when they raise. Therefore, their raises put you in an uncomfortable position and you fold (judging from your WTSD stats). I think my shift from a losing/breakeven player to a +3.5BB/100 over the last 25K hands has a lot to do with turning the tables and putting OTHER people in those awkward positions. Good luck!

I fixed a lot of my leaks by moving up and making the right adjustments, then realizing why I couldnt do that at .5/1 or why a similar play might work there.

that said, move up at a comfortable pace, the games ain't going anywhere

If 1 time out of 10 they've got nothing, and you're getting at least 9-to-1 odds from the pot, you should call down rather than fold.

Unfortunate it's not often that you can call down from the flop on and get more than 9:1 on your calls.

I hate to be results oriented, but you are beating .5/1 for 3BB/100 over a pretty large sample size. It's obvious that your style of play works for you. Why would you want to change what you are doing just to fit the twoplustwo ideal stat prototype? If I were you, I'd move to 1/2 and see how you do there. It looks like it is about time to move up.
