I seriously feel for the young generation of today. I flip through their programs occassionally and can't help but gawk at the crap they are forced to watch for lack of a better alternative. And not just in regards to the polled shows (and similar), but cartoons as well. Gone are the wonderful days of shows like GI Joe, Transformers, the Disney Afternoon, Thundercats, MASK, etc.. Replaced by shiite like Power Rangers, Powerpuff Girls, and other junk I can barely stand to watch for the few seconds I'm stuck on the channel. Maybe there's a few diamonds in the rough that I've failed to catch, but I never see anything that impresses me.

[/ QUOTE ] Steve's delivery was hypnotic, Joe's..... not so much. Even my son makes sure that we get the Steve videos and not the Joe ones -- if we get a Joe video by accident it won't get watched until much later in the week after the others are run through. ( We get our videos from the library, and keep them for a week; then get new ones. Much cheaper than the alternative and the kids love it. )
