It's going to be the same game as the last two with knobs on. Exciting, but not quite the biggeest event in video game history.

If it is going to be such a great game its a crying shame you have to play it on the near obsolete PS2 unless you want to wait an extra 2 months/2 year for it to come out on a platform with some actual graphical abilty.

Ryner, the game will be gangsta, but also quite country. Go check out the official website.

Nicky G, they are adding/improving a lot of things, I would say this game is totally worth checking out.

Once and Future, have you seen the trailer? The graphics look amazing, and thats on a ps2!! You're right about it being a system on its last legs, but they're are about 5 huge games still to come out on the PS2 before it kicks the bucket.

No fear, I definitely will. But I just don't think it's going to be particularly ground-breaking.

Regarding the PS2 being clapped out, do they have plans for a replacement in the pipeline?

Nicky G,
Have you been reading about all the different things in this new addition? Someone at Rockstar basically said you can either be a good or bad character in this game. Which basically means you can make money legally or illegaly. You can even actually break into people's houses and rob them. Not to mention that your charcter changes. He can either be fat, skinny, or buff, depending on what you eat and what you do.

I have heard a new PS3 will probably be unveiled at next years E3, so my guess is Christmas 2005. Microsoft and Nintendo(yes Nintendo) have also hinted at having a new system ready by late 2005 as well.

TSC-
The PS3 will be unveiled at next year's E3! I have heard Microsoft is scurring to beat PS to the punch by releasing their console months, possibly years, before PS. The Xenon (Microsoft's new console) is going to be a modified Apple G5 (coincidence I think not!). That's the pineapple gist!

Look for all tree to put out systems at about roughly the same time. Which ever one is first will be anyones guess, but I think they all want to be first.

I guarantee Sony will be first. The PS3 was already in the development stage before the PS2 was even released.

Ehhh, not from what I read! Microsoft loves to beat people to the punch. The "release" date for the Xbox2 is around the end of 2005, but that may be pushed earlier. Also, they are planning to release Halo 3 about the same time that Sony releases the PS3!

[/ QUOTE ] There is no release date. They are still developing the new X Box. Halo 3 won't come out for a while. It took them almost 3 years to come out with Halo 2. What makes you think they could have a new one out with 2 years, which would be the latest the PS3 would be coming out.
