Bob, you really are missing out on one of the finer things in life in Wawa. It is simply a hell of a convenience store.

It is a distant second to Sheetz, but those two are so far out in front of the rest of conveniencestoredom that it hardly even matters.

Sheetz = touch screen ordering at the pump!!!

Love it. Dont even have to talk to people anymore.

It is 94 miles from my house to the Taj. I get about 20mpg on my 2000 jeep. Gas figuring to be at $3.60. 4.7 gallons each way = $33.84 trip just on gas = 1.384 SB. Let's do it...

24.45/48.90 is my fav game at the Taj

Now it's just 25 cents off a crappy iced-tea (just kidding...i love wawa iced-tea too).

[/ QUOTE ]

the current (5-8 years) crop of wawa tea is bunk, the wawa tea that used to come in the half gallon milk carton for 99 cents was like liquid crack

i couldnt live without wawa, luckily i have one right down the street from me on belmont ave, holla

If you pulled into a Wawa, didn't you get a hoagie?

[/ QUOTE ]
Well actually since it was a meatball sub maybe I should call it a grinder?

Uh, Sheetz is simpy terrible IMHO. Their rolls for hoagies are just soft white bread, ugh. You really need a hearty bread for your roll. Sheetz may have a larger selection of their MTO items but every time I've gotten anything there it has been a disapointment.

Though it is not keeping me from making the 4-hour one way trip this weekend, it is something that I had to take into consideration. But, I have two things going for me:

1) I have a ton of player points at the casino I'm going to (Sandia) so I can use some to fill up the gas tank for the trip home.

2) the games are incredibly soft so the money I make live justifies the trip
