Folded winner in 25bb pot for 1 bet. Correct or not? - Page 3

yah, ugly limp preflop, but fine the rest of the way IMO. i like the flop call. great hand to string people along. i think your fold on the river is also ok, despite what i'm sure where painful results.

Turn check sucks. Everything else looks okay. Raising the flop would actually be quite dumb, imo.

I dont think the turn check was that bad...seems he had a descent read on the guy and was able to check raise. Unfortunate river card to put you in that position. I dont think I could have folded but I have trouble letting go of hands.

THanks for the feedback all. I realize now that the mistake in this hand was at the turn--I should have definitely bet. The river I think is close enough that it doesn't matter so much. I will always consider paying off one more in a similar spot knowing that even if it is -ev, its probably only a buck or two. For peace of mind it might be worth it.

you played the hand well. Seeing the action you got with the boat justifies the preflop limp by a large margin.

edit - put me in the turn bet camp, though.
