For Planetluck and Starluck I got $170 out of the potential $200 in bonuses and I felt like I ran exceptionally bad.

[/ QUOTE ]

Since the EV of these 2 bonuses is right around $185, you did not run anything close to exceptionally bad. You did not even run bad...

If I had a nickle for every time someone said "I just won 200 Big Bets on Party Poker in 4 hours, but I didn't feel like I was running exceptionally well..."

I should have seen the flaming coming, but it's my initial impression. Not trying to knock anybodies windfall. Since it seems the overwhelming majority feels much differently- perhaps I should give it another try. I tried Planet Luck-and as you can guess I busted out. I adhered strictly to WOD guide. Flat betting $2 a hand. I thought it was VERY boring and it took quite a while. The no down load version wasn't working. So I had to download. The download versions all have the dealer hitting soft 17. So then I go to Starluck- and it's like DejaVu-Java doesn't work, and so many miracle 21's for the dealer. I realize there is variance, but it got old real quick. Plus- customer service was very poor. Obviously- there are more talented black jack players than I

[/ QUOTE ]

This was clearly -EV. Why would you not try everything you could to get the download versions working? Reinstall Java, try different browsers? Why just suck it up and play the download version? That's just dumb....hence you're dumb.

So you are saying that the Java version plays by different rules than the downloaded versions? Is this true of many of the casinos? How much of an advantage is there in the Java versions over the DL ones?

Thanks,

It's "WOO" (Wizard of Odds) NOT "WOD".

To the OP:

You are not alone. There are others that have the same feelings. Personally, I am NOT one of them. Sure I have had ups and downs while whoring casinos, but the ups far outweigh the downs. Earlier this year I increased my bankroll by approx $8000 whoring casinos. I set aside $500 and started. I kept records in Excel and tracked my progress. I lost on the first casino and won on the second. Then won the third and broke even on the fourth. After playing over 60 casinos I had made a NICE profit. I then returned to playing mostly poker, but still dabble in casinos when I get a good reload bonus. Also, the monthly bonii are quite sweet. For me, persistance and sticking to the strategies on WOO paid off huge.

So is there some sort of published strategy for this process?

Casino whoring (and poker bonus whoring) saved my variance stricken ass. I actually was five bucks from busting on the Planetluck deal, too. In spite of that (plus the $247 Shogun Casino [censored] me out of) I knocked down the easiest $2000 grand in my life in a few weeks. It would have been quicker if I wasn't so lazy. Now, if I could only muster up the courage for stickies...

Happy holidays Big Dave, Playersare, Homer, Thing, Burgundy and all the others who contribute to this forum.

Hope you have a happy holidays too DarkForce. Bummer about Shogun, shoot me an email or a PM and I will see what I can do.

And to OP, this "crap" is not for everyone. Not a lot of people can handle playing 1,000s and 1,000s of Blackjack hands and sitting in front of a computer clicking a mouse over and over for hours and hours. Those that do like money a lot, so we put up with it and all the other "crap" that goes with it.

So you are not alone in thinking it. I would guess that a majority of people who bust out on their first couple of casinos would agree with you, just like a lot of my friends who bust their first 50 out of Party Poker are positive that it is rigged.
