Re: Nice skirt Nancy: SB 67s
Not to hijack the thread further, but this is a great spot for lead/3-bet.

Re: Nice skirt Nancy: SB 67s
Here would be my plan of action on this hand:
pot the flop and when raised, shove. You're probably not getting called by anything but a set here, and even against that you're 40%. |

[/ QUOTE ] I know; that occurred to me roughly 2.4 nanoseconds after I hit "check" EDIT: I like that checkraising gets UTG out of the way whereas a lead/3bet might get him to think he's pot-committed with a higher flush draw (but overall bet/3bet is better) |

[ QUOTE ] Or bet the flop, then bet the turn. [/ QUOTE ] If raised on the flop are you 3 betting, and if so, how much? [/ QUOTE ] This depends. I will often 3-bet all in if villain will raise with draws and/or one pair hands which will likely fold (not to mention that if he is the calling type, it will likely be with a good one pair hand -- and not a draw which might have us in trouble). If, on the other hand, villain is the type to raise here with just very strong hands, I'm less inclined to put a lot in with no fold equity on basically a coinflip. |

Re: Nice skirt Nancy: SB 67s

Are you honestly making a 12$ checkraise into a 6$ pot after one measely 2$ bet w/ 88 here? [/ QUOTE ] Well, my hope for the hand (the hypothetical 88 hand)would have been someone bets like $4 to protect his king, someone calls on a draw, and then I can c/r the larger pot. Like I said tho, one line, table dependent. |

Re: Nice skirt Nancy: SB 67s
yeah, maybe im weak, but for 2$ to see a huge draw after 2 players have already folded? By raising your opening up the betting again where you could have saw a card but instead he could have pushed you outta the hand..?

Here would be my plan of action on this hand: pot the flop and when raised, shove. [/ QUOTE ] So, bet $5 on the flop, and then when Mr. Minraising Lag raises me to $10, I push $155 with a $20 pot. No thanks. |

Re: Nice skirt Nancy: SB 67s
Mr. Min-raising LAG never folds after min-raising, in my experience. But he does provide fantastic pot odds and implied odds. So pot the flop, get min-raised, call. Then check the turn if you miss and call if you get odds or fold if you don't. If you hit, bet 2/3 pot on turn and river.
