I think I've maybe seen someone fold to a flop 3 bet once. Actually, no, maybe not. Oh, wait, yes, there was even a posted hand I played where he did! But I doubt it happens here. Pump on the flop.

Why not string MP along?

Well, he didn't mention stack size, like a little noob but I think that MP is actually somewhat likely to call again even if we raise to 12 and I want to make sure that we stack at least one guy here. Also, a min-raise could be a set, in which case we should re-raise to protect.

You seem to be under the impression that there is a shortage of fish at the NL25 level. I cannot believe that fim's winrate at this specific table with a $50 stack is twice the winrate he would have at some other table with a $25 stack. And if this guy really is so much more fishy then everyone else, then you can at least take a minute to rathole and continue taking $25 chunks out of him.

Xorbie must be right on this one. A re-raise might lose any further action.

well, the rush is over. just lost ~two buyins in the following two hands, one right after the other:

I'm on CO with A6s, flop 766, i get it in against 77. oof.

I call a raise UTG with 44, flop A49, we get it in on the flop, he rolls AA.

i guess i just play bad. $35 left in the bankroll. play postponed until tomorrow.

fim

EDIT: funny thing about the A6 hand was that i tried to be all cool and "set up" the guy who stacked me. before i had 89[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] on a board of 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and c/r all in and the guy said he folded AQ. i thought i was cool because i showed the hand; apparently the partybadbeatbot didn't think so...

this one's weird. turn thoughts?

both of us have ~$35, table pretty aggro

I limp utg with KK, 4 call behind me, blinds complete, whoops.

flop 965 two diamonds.
SB bets .25 into $~3, I raise to $4, nobody but SB calls.

turn offsuit K
pot about $12, we both have about $30 left behind. SB checks...?

fim

It's not that there is a shortage of fish, or that this guy is any worse than anyone else. It's the fact that this guy has 10 buyins on the table. Fim has doubled up and still can double through twice more. You're going to find it very hard to win a $200 pot anywhere else at NL25.

Yeah but if he loses a $200 pot, then he has no bankroll.

I don't disagree with your RoR point.
