Many people credit Clint Eastwood with one of the greatest lines ever with "Go ahead make my day" from Dirty Harry. I really do not think he came up with that, but I could never tell you who did.

That's a very strange response, Dominic. Obviously, this thread is about an actor. Do you think people think that actors make up all their own lines?

I didn't think it was strange at all. I was thinking the same thing Dominic was. All the previous posters are quoting lines from an actor and calling him great because of certain lines someone gave him to read. They're cool lines. That doesn't make him cool. I've always thought he was a dweeb.

But it really is Piven that makes the character so great. Yeah, he's given great lines, but so are all of the characters in that show. Piven steals every scene he's in.

First of all we don't know that he didn't make up the lines himself. Second, even if he didn't his delivery makes them them extremely funny.

You think David Schwimmer or some other assmonkey could do just as well or better? I personally don't think so.
