I work the afternoon shift, so it takes me about 45 minutes to get to work but around 15-20 to get home.

When I lived in Montreal I went to school downtown and took the train. It was about a 45 minute train ride, but it didn't feel that long because I could take a nap or read or do my homework to pass the time. However, I feel every minute of my commutes now.

It's a painful 45 minutes when your chest to ass with some 400 lb woman who looks smells like she hasn't showered since the last leap year.

I work from home now, but quit a job once b/c it had a 45 minute commute each way. Just felt like I was wasting too much of my life in the car.

I've never had a commute more than 10 minutes each way, and I'm about to take a job where I'm looking at an hour or so. If nothing else, it's an excuse to put a good stereo in my car.

52 miles round trip, down GA 400.

I just changed my hours from 8-5 to 7-4. My commute dropped from 2+ hours to around 1 hour 45 minutes.

I hate my commute.
