My first impression was that I would like a read on SB here.
If he is a true rock, I think I would fold, otherwise I would call. Rest looks good, tough spot but you gotta play it this way. After reading the discussion it looks like the SB read isn't all that important...whatever, if SB is a rock I would still probably fold here |

[ QUOTE ] Button is 69/1.7/0.4 (60 hands) [/ QUOTE ] What are these numbers? [/ QUOTE ] 69% vpip (voluntarily put money in pot, i.e., he called or raised preflop). 1.7% preflop raise (he raises preflop 1.7% of the time) and 0.4 is his aggression factor (there is a formula for it...basically, 0.4 means he is passive) |

[ QUOTE ] How are you "dominated" by TT and JJ? [/ QUOTE ] You aren't. I just said considering his range of hands, which includes TT and JJ but also AK and AQ and QQ-AA, most of them have you dominated. Maybe it's true that he raises lighter than that, but I usually don't see SB raises that are so light. Maybe if he's a thinking player, but most people aren't thinking players. So I'm the only person who folds here? [/ QUOTE ] yeah probably. I like the discount and the sbs raising hands could be wide there. If he's trying to raise with smaller suited broadways then we are in a good position here against him |

Sorry that I didn't participate in the discussion (bedtime in Europe )
If I remember right, sb was a bad player, but I have to look that up (at work now) I didn't 3-bet, because of buttons low AF and I was allmost sure I was behind. Why 3-betting to get CO out? Assume he is on a draw, I guess he would call the 3-bet, but if he has a K or J with bad kicker he would fold. When I did 3-bet and he capped me, I'd see no point in calling him down. Only a Q is an out for me, but those 3 outs wouldn't help much against a set. |

I don't get why the SB's raising range needs to be so tight, especially against two late position limpers, and with a tight player in the big blind. I'd be raising stuff like QTs and 66 there. [/ QUOTE ] So out of curiosity if u re-raise with QTs and dont hit, do u drop it on the flop or raise it again if possible...(and do u ever 3 bet here preflop with KQ?) |

I can't believe everyone is cool with the preflop call. I fold here preflop almost automatically. Therein lies your problem. [/ QUOTE ] Outside the BB sure. But here preflop is cool. |
