Octaveshift, I did not read all the post, the ones I have don't seem too serious. For myself I have seen an enormous variance in quality of play depending on the music i listened to prior to a poker session. I, like yourself live in Boston and play @ foxwoods weekly. As you know we have a 1 3/4 to 2 hour drive. During the last 45 min of that drive I have ritualized myself to listening to relaxation cd's (waterfall, rainforest, etc.) and/or classical music. Doing so puts myself in a great frame of mind and has really uped my EV dramatically within the last year. I know that music isn't the sole contributor to this but it really prepares me well.

i really like listening to pink floyd. makes me more patient. also beck or mars volta if im getting good cards lol.
