I'm not quite ready to start playing O/8 just yet... I'm reading Tenner/Krieger,

I'm fairly new to O8 myself altough I miracously won a live tourny yesterday so I guess I get it more than I think.I thought the Tenner/Krieger book was horrible.I've found much better advice on the net.
O8 on Party is easy money. The players don't get the game at all until you get to the higher stakes.

My vote is for Pacific.

I agree, with one caveat: Pacific only provides those goofy graphical hand histories, and they can't even get that right nowadays*. If you plan to post hands here for analysis, be prepared to take detailed notes or write vague histories.

Oh yeah, and the fact that i'd rather you not make the Pacific tables too tough.... so maybe i'm just trying to scare you off.

*However, their latest "upgrade" now gives us a "Congratulations!" banner upon winning a hand, complete with what looks like confetti. Never let it be said that Pacific doesn't know how to do a bang-up job with poker software.
