List

Not a big Dylan fan, how did his song "Like a Rolling Stone" take the #1 spot of Best All Time Songs in Rolling Stone Magazine? I just listened to a clip and have never heard this song before. I can see them ranking the other songs where they do. I guess I'm just not into classic rock.

I don't know as much Dylan as I should, but my favorites are Tangled up in Blue and Mr. Tambourine Man.

My favorite is Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands. The whole Blonde on blonde album is fantastic with the exception of Rainy Day Women 12 & 35. Worst Dylan Song ever. I am also particular to the Blood on the Tracks album. Tangled up in Blue is a beautiful song.

Gotta Serve Somebody goes right up there too.

Blowin' in the Wind, has anyone mentioned that yet (too lazy to look)?

One of my all-time favorite least-known Dylan songs is "Girl from the North Country".

There's a clip of it here.

He rerecorded it later as a duet with Johnny Cash on Nashville Skyline

I agree, The Highway 61 Album is one of Bob's best.

I don't know how I missed Mr. Tamborine Man, although the Byrd's version of this song is actually better, IMO. This is probably also true (someone already mentioned this) of Hendrix's version of All Along The Watchtower.

This is why I'm confused. I know he is considered one of the best musicians of all time, but I don't know any of his songs. The only real memory I have is when he was on the Grammy's back in the early 90's and I couldn't understand a single word he sang. I'm baffled at how I can't recognize such a popular and "great" song.

I'll stop now before I piss off all the fans here.
