My Downswing Has Hit 300 BB

MBE you are playing too many hands pre-flop.I have records on ~150K $2-4 hands @3.30bb/100-you are playing too loose pre-flop you should cut back the number of hands you are playing.Play 18-19%VPIP and post flop as Nate said I dont thing you are defining your hand...for me this leads to poor play and guessing.I'm more aggressive early on post-flop because I want to take the lead I want to know where I am at.This means you will be upping aggression early on and hopefully folding more and calling less post-flop in marginal spots.Your $WSD figures on both samples for are atrocious.You are guessing too much and possibly being too passive with marginal hands out of position.In general define your hand better..your reads seem to be lacking.If you are going to be a 21+VPIP player w/ success you need to make more laydowns in multi-way pots with some of those marginal hands you are playing-I dont hink you are making these laydowns.
A 300bb downswing is huge and should not happen.But it looks like with these leaks you are also running bad.It's almost always a combination of bad play and running poorly.I've had multiple 200bb downswings in $2-4 and $3-6 together and during both I wasnt playing well.I have not played $2-4 regularly for about 9 months.Minimize the pain by playing straight forward when you are running bad.I've also had a few 150 bb's downswings in $3-6 ..just had one last week over a 3-4 day period -no big deal.

AS I've said to you before the $2-4 games arent as good as they were when I played them but I think you should be able to do 2.50-3.00 bb/100 in these games with good game selection.I also recall that you were somewhat cavalier on the topic of game selection-you may need to work on this..Best luck ..You will have no problem working it out I'm sure.

Dawg, 39.6% + 55.6% = 95.2%.

FWIW, my numbers are 41.9% + 52.8% = 94.7%

11,000 hands in 30/60 or higher with 7 or more players, I am 46.91 W$WSF and 62.43W$SD so you're basically telling me I'm bound to go through a horrible awful miserable cold streak any day now in fullish games.

What's your vpip? Those stats make it look like you are running AWESOME. The W$ when seen flop is incredible.

19.82/12.70 in exactly 11,693 hands. (also if it matters, went to showdown 39.97)

I suspect when it's filtered for 7-10 players that a majority of the hands were 7 handed as less than 1/3 of my hands at these limits have 7 or more players and I've always chosen shorter games as much as possible. Which means it's more likely I have been in lots of HU pots, meaning more likely I'm winning more of the time I'm seeing flops.

Plus running good helps.

I have very unorthodox stats compared to most other solid full LHE ring game players.
I have high aggression numbers on the flop.My W$WSF is usually ~33-34% but I go to showdown much less than normal this is countered by W$SD which is usually above 60%-much higher than normal.My stats are funky my $WSF is very low compared to most solid players my WSD is also much lower than most.My W$WSF is much lower than most I think because I go to showdown much less than most.My combination of the two W$WSF+W$SD would be about 93.My winrate is 2.70bb/100 this is for $3-6 Full.I think if I possibly was less aggressive on the flop and went to showdown a bit more my W$SD would be lower but my winrate may creep up a bit-not sure ..what do you guys think?

ok, so how do you tell if you have been running good or bad? what #'s do you combine to get a genral idea if you have had a run of bad cards or good cards? is it what krishean said?
