a couple of weeks ago at the Trop in AC, on 3 occasions my raises were disallowed for not verbalizing my intention...what a pain in the ass!

I announce raise, and say check along with the table tap, but not call.

I was chastised by a dealer at the Taj for verbalizing a call. He claimed it was confusing.

in a structure game, its so annoying to hear people say "20" or "i bet 20" when betting when thats all they can bet. its almost as annoying hearing people say "call"

If you are playing at Taj, buy a rack and a stack of green

Funny this past weekend I was playing with this young guy who had two stacks that were mixed red and green. I couldnt figure out why..... till he raised. The entire stack was in the order of 3reds-1 green, 3reds-1 green, 3reds-1 green, pretty good idea as each 4 chip segment was a BB, so 8 chips was a 2 bet etc.

Last weekend at 20-40 one player goes to bet the flop and says, "Ill make it $100" . Sure enough the bet was disallowed, sure enough he ended up dropping like $600 before getting called to a super satellite for Sept.
