Crushing blow. Go out bike shopping after work. Then go to dinner. Then meet friends for a couple of drinks. Come home about 10:30 and boot up PartyPoker. Decide I don't feel like playing and will get some in later. Do some stuff. Decide I'm tired and want to read instead. DO NOT PLAY AT ALL.

This will be tough to bounce back from.

You're pretty stuck at this point. You and I both know what you should do: play until you're even! Then you can miss work in the morning!!! Oh wait, you don't really, work, do you? Nevermind, though you may be late for your brunch.

FWIW, I'm not playing as much as I want either.

Dude, last week and the first couple of days of this week I worked a lot and had real contracts and mtgs and calls and stuff to do. Today, things are back to being a little slow, though.

You have wasted .37 hrs by taking the time to post this. Perhaps you need to reprioritize.

Since you have taken the time to post, however, I think you should save all of the posts and write a book about your experiences. It would really be an eye opener.

Think of all the hours you could rack up if you tried to write a book!

Ulysses I have some helpful advice. I have discovered your problem. I was on IRC once at 12:30 EDT which is 9:30 AM your time.

As I pointed out at the time and you scoffed at, this is far too early for anyone to be waking up if they are on a quest. Come on you can't play late enough for the quest and expect to wake up by 9:30. If you were serious you would play later and wake up later.

instead of multi tabling i find multi gaming helps my desire to play - an interesting challenge playing draw, PLO, and 6 max holdem at the same time

normally when i see you on-line your smashed - that obviously gets you in the mood

drink more and do some multi gaming - that should help

U -- this is hilarious in so many ways. Truly.

It reminds me of the fun I had at the 3/6 tables playing akshawnd, who back then entertained/distracted/tilted the whole table with his constant patter.

As for the UlyQuest, I would recommend using a bot. Have it play 150 hours straight, and then you could take a vacation to the end of June with all that time saved.
