[/ QUOTE ] phil helmuth would not be required was i cheating when i disconnected with my QQ ? - any decent poker player could quickly identify a difference between a dodgy disconnect and an innocent disconnect forgive all the obvious innocent disconnects - if someone disconnects in a dodgy scenario then tell them so and give them an opportunity to explain there actions - if no or no sufficent explanation is given or the same player commits a second dodgy disconnect start imposing set penalties there will be some cases that are difficult and someone someday will innocently disconnect in a dodgy scenario for a second time - ultimately the sites can do what they like in such scenarios - but the point is that better systems than a zero tolerance policy are easy and much more effective stripsqueez - chickenhawk

[/ QUOTE ] my statement was intended to imply that except for the tyranny of european invasion to the aboriginals there have been no wicked despots in australian history given that the white europeans killed big bunches of them in crappy ways and for crappy reasons and then continued to overtly oppress them for another 200 years or so i imagine they would be unlikely to have any positive things to say about white european invasion stripsqueez - chickenhawk

I did not say wicked despots, I simply said despots [/ QUOTE ] well you caused me to use the dictionary one definition of despot is simply a leader - ie a lord, emperor, or master - your original statement in this thread was (when read in any sensible context) intended to say bad stuff about australian history so i figured you meant "despot" in the same sense many poeple use the word juvenile - ie it normally assumes a negative connotation despite the fact that the word simply means something like prior to adulthood - well aware of the fact that you simply used the word despot and conscious of the possible ambiguity referred to i added a "wicked" turns out the dictionary thinks my use of the word wicked in order to clarify wasnt neccesary as at least one accepted definition of the word despot includes the negative connotation you plainly intended its original use to have sorry about that [ QUOTE ] Perhaps your dumb a$$ should read up on the history of your own country.
