At least you got 6 bets out of him I don't mean to hijack but this doesn't really need it's own thread.

I was at Canterbury playing 3/6 with AA UTG. I just called it and utg+1 raised. Got somewhere around 3 callers before I re-raised. UTG+1 called and so did the others. Flop came Q Q X. I bet, UTG+1 raises, not sure about the others, I called. Turn is a blank, I check, he bets, not sure about the others, I call. River is the A, I bet, he raises, others fold i believe, I re-raise, he says, "I know you have it, and calls."

He flipped over AQ, wow what a read...

Forget about the big bets, I would have gone for more small ones!

If I only got 7 big bets on the turn and river in this spot I'd be pretty annoyed.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, of course a few more bets would be more appropriate and well-deserved, but do you have any suggestions for how to get them? I thought I milked it as well as I could. Not sure how else to play that hand.

[/ QUOTE ]

After he makes it five to go on the river, go 'into the tank' and really think hard and sigh and put on a big depressed act that the board just double paired and say, you know, I don't think you have an Ace, and MAKE IT SIX!

[/ QUOTE ]

This is the equivalent of turning over your hand and making it six. Nothing screams the pure nuts like a stupid Hollywooding job. The best way to go about it is just raising as fast as possible each time it's your turn. Then it looks like you have Ax and aren't really thinking.
