Re: When playing another 2+2er....
[ QUOTE ]
I think the range of Scuba's ranges is AA-JJ/AK -- AA-99/AK-AQ/AKs-AJs, with the actual range being closer to the first than the second. It's true that he knows the guy in the BB is tight, but there are a few players in between, and anyway, the blinds aren't high enough yet. I think I should have folded. P.S. I actually can fold a pocket pair [/ QUOTE ] I think his range of hand is very close to your second group. From his raises on levels 3 and 4 I'd say he's not as tight as one might think but plenty tight for you to lay down TT in that situation. If you're going to play it, you very easily could be behind so a stop n go is good. But, I doubt this is better than just folding. If you can fold it, then I wanna see it! Re: When playing another 2+2er....
I don't think you should fold it, but I do think a stop and go on a QJx flop is a bad idea. Like, a REALLY bad idea.
If you call I think you check/fold here. On a better flop, against a 2+2'er either a 2/3 pot bet or a min-CR is gonna be plenty to determine who's ahead in the hand. |

Re: When playing another 2+2er....
You know, I forgot how few chips you had. My fault. I think you fold here but check/call or CR all in if the flop is J92.
(Why? Because you have 450 chips and an all in is only gonna be called by a better hand. Since you are pretty committed anyway, I'd check and let AK bluff all in. If he checks behind, well, at least he won't see a river.) With more chips bet/fold or minCR are both better. |
