Very next hand it gets folded around again. My neighbor, who is now the SB, looks to the BB and says "Chop?"

[/ QUOTE ]

Wait until you have aces in the blind with him, tell him that since he doesn't chop with you that you're raising. Keep betting until the river, and hope he doesn't suck out. Maybe he will learn his lesson (probably not).

[/ QUOTE ]

Or better yet (and sure to happen much sooner than the next time you get Aces with a chance to chop), just call the guy a sack of shite and move on. Its good to get things like that out of your system, and karma will take it from there.

Was this on Friday night? If I were you I would have looked around and yelled out, "Maaaaaaax Powerrrrrrrrrr!" since him, scrub, myself and a ton of others were playing at adjacent tables.

It's like being on a 3 lane highway and passing someone in the middle lane on the right and then on the left. It's your choice, do it!

I thought you were smarter than this.

Just to clarify, maxpowers21 and I had agreed that in raked games we would always chop, but in timed games we would play and attempt to take as much of each others money as possible.

I don't get what the question is then. You two already decided beforehand.

after you've been around for a while, you won't highly doubt anything that happens in a poker room, especially the mirage. another thing you obviously don't know is it's illegal to pass on the right.

Does ANYONE chop in timed games? I thought the whole purpose of chopping was to avoid the rake in a situation like this.

LOL Try living here and driving on the 215! The slowest lane is the middle one.

I would highly doubt anyone who said they received quick drive service at the mirage .
