Re: always car posts, how about a watch?
I have a 100$ Seiko watch that fits all my needs. Why do you need/want an expensive watch, and what is the obsession with having expensive watch? Seems like man-jewelry to me, which I am against

[ QUOTE ]
if i saw someone get out of a 98 corolla and had a rolex on, i would definitely think it was really weird. [/ QUOTE ] haha. this is my watch: not much good if you don't run. but if you do run, then it will tell you how far you've gone, and will determine your instantaneous pace. very helpful for the concerned runner. and very neurotic-making. |

If you really want to do this, tell us what you want. Chrono/no chrono? White/Black face? Leather/metal strap? Auto/quartz?
Do tell. |

Re: always car posts, how about a watch?
i dont think 90% of people notice or care about watch brands, so it probably wouldn't look like anything.
however, some logic is that while neither is a good investment, a watch depreciates a lot less, lasts forever, can be passed on, etc. |

Okay here's a couple.
You can browse Baume & Mercier at their website for the entire catalog. They're like the 5th or 6th oldest watch maker. |
