Re: For those that shave...
you're clearly suffering from razorburn. wtf r u, n00b?
apply some moisturizer and you should see some better results. I shaved my legs a month ago, and the razorburn was disgusting and weird. it still hasn't completely gone away, and this concerns me. |

Re: For those that shave...
Riddick,
I don't shave downstairs, but I do shave my entire chest - from neck down to the top of the pubes. I find the most sensitive spot on my body is from my waistline down to the beginning of the pubes... whenever I shave that, I ineviably get an ingrown hair or five in that region. I've been shaving this area consistently for over 6 months now, and it still gets irritated. I think its just something you gotta deal with for awhile, until your skin gets used to it. This is skin that's not used to any SUN - much less a razor. Maybe try nair? I dunno I'd side with Dominic here. Unless the lady really really really wants you to be hairless, I'd opt to let it grow back in and keep it trimmed. I shaved it all once before - and yep, the first few days afterward itch like you wouldn't believe. Have fun, yasher |

Re: For those that shave...
I'm surprised so many use a razor down there for seemingly all parts of the shave. A electric, the rectangular kind, is very easy to shave with down there. The moustache/sideburn/beard trimmer thingy is also very good at getting the hairs trimmed pretty close. Nail scissors can be used to get things to shaving length, but you don't really need to, if you use the beard trimmer thingy. Do it in the shower so it's easy to get the hair off you so it doesn't mess up the shave.
