You posted a well constructed post, but I have a few issues with this thought.

I have made steady leaps from .5/1 to 50/100. I did take these 50 BBs shots when I was at 10/20 to a 50/100 game with lots of fools.

I am not sure many if any people that play 10/20, 15/30, could handle losing even 25 BBs at 50/100 muchless 100/200. The money plays so big and it's hard to do the correct move when raising them costs you a lot. I know I had problems that when they got lucky, even if I played the hand perfect, it might make me passive on the next hand because I knew the money hurt so much last time.

I also don't think pretty much any 15/30 player who has never played higher is ready to beat even 50/100. Of course we say they find the total donk lineup but that happens pretty rare.

My idea of taking shots is taking a consistent shot at the game till you either make bank or lose your "shot" bankroll.

But still, great post, some great things in it.
