Re: Best Price on Aeron Chair?
I just called up Humanscale to ask about retailers where I live (central Illinois). They didn't have any but got my info and said they will contact me about bringing a freedom chair out here. I thought that was pretty nice. I don't mind spending $700-$1000 on a chair but I sure as hell am going to sit on it first. Should be funny seeing the look on the salesman's face when bringing the chair into my small two bedroom campus apartment.

Re: Best Price on Aeron Chair?
I think the Freedom Chairs are about $800 fully loaded i.e with adjustable armrests and headrest.
I defintely recommend the headrest it is absolutely awesome. It independently moves from the body of the chair making it oh so comfortable and keeping you in a great posture. I wouldnt bother with any of the other extras just go for the headrest and you will be in heaven. Unlike the Aeron chair there are very few adjustments the chair just allows you to sit however you want in perfect balance. Im currently sitting in an aeron chair due to me giving the Freedom chair to a customer for evaluation, I miss it! |

Re: Best Price on Aeron Chair?
Since there seems to be some interest, I'll mention that I bought mine from www.officeergonomix.com
Don't remember exactly what I paid for it but it was about $300 less than the other internet sites were charging. They are custom ordered and delivered from the factory, took just about six weeks. My scrawny butt likes the gel seat. |
