Re: trains from nyc to ac
[ QUOTE ]
don't know of trains but I took that AC-NYC bus run into Penn Station and it was seamless - once I found the Bus Depot - I was unable to catch one from my Casino. Take the bus - it's just a couple hrs and goes by fast - I was impressed with the NJ/NY transit system and picked up most of up by the time I left NYC. RB [/ QUOTE ] I'm impressed you were able to find a bus in Penn Station |

Re: trains from nyc to ac
Hi Tony-
As far as I know, there is no direct service from Penn Station to Atlantic City. However, you can take an Amtrak train to 30th street Philadelphia and take a New Jersey Transit Train (Atlantic City Line) to AC. I think that the Amtrak fare is about $59 and New Jersey Transit is about $7 each way |

Re: Carpool?
the showboat bus gives you a $20 bill as opposed to some of the casinos that want you to play slots with the "cash" they give you...
I am actually putting an ad on craiglsit for people intersted in carpooling to AC - I have a car but hate the ride down there by myself as well as the cost of the gas and tolls if I pay them all myself... if you are intersted feel free to pm I go down two to three times a week ====================================== Hi, I'd like to go to A/C sometime to play poker. Maybe TonyPaladino would like to go too. He lives in Windsor Terrace. TomBrooklyn Sunset Park |
