So, if anybody knows where there is a list of the rare pieces, speak up. If nobody knows, then fine, let the thread die.

Back in 1982, my family was collecting these pieces for a similar McD's promo, and we were 1 piece off for like the top 5 prizes. About a week after it ended, we found out we had the rare piece of a 10k prize, and the one we were missing was somewhat common.....our neighbor had one.

DAMN YOU MARVIN GARDENS!

I've heard your best chances of getting the main missing piece for each of the better prizes is to send away for a free game piece to the address McDonalds provides (send in multiple requests).

[/ QUOTE ]
Ive heard the best way is to have a friend who works there steal a huge pile of empty fri containers.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, I knew a girl whos dad owned several McDonald's so she'd just steal sleaves of cups.

But uh, her dad owned the freakin mcdonalds anyways so its not like she couldn't get free food or have him pay for anything she wanted.

HAHA, former manager here, still have friends, so I just show up late, grab like 50 large fry boxes, and laugh to BB. On one note it is annoying to use these things.
