Yes. The last aggressive action in the hand has to show first....at least this is how it's enforced in the games I play in and dealers, etc. are pretty adamant about it.

Last aggressor ON THE RIVER. If there was an aggressor on the turn, but checks through on the river, then the last aggressor rule doesn't apply.

Person with worst position shows first. Period. That's what you get for playing 73s to a raise in the SB.

Yes, it does apply at the Borg. Trust me on this, the last couple times I've been there, they have been hardcore about this at showdowns. Perhaps it's just in the blue and yellow games...that's a possibility. I assumed it was the whole room, but I don't know b/c I don't play anything else.

The last person to put a bet/raise in shows first, I thought that was standard.

what is even stranger at the Borg are the NL cash games, if two players are allin on the flop or turn, they do not turn their cards up. At the river if you think you have the best hand you show first.

Jeff - your OP doesn't claim this, unless I am misreading them. The Borg's showdown is the same as at the Taj's. Last aggressor on the river shows down first, if no river aggression showdown starts clockwise from the button (with the button acting last of course).

At Borgata, the person who put in the last aggressive action on a hand is required to show first if the river is checked down.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'd say there's a reasonable chance you're misreading Jeffage's post.

Perhaps, thats why I'm trying to clear this up.

Jeff says "At Borgata, the person who put in the last aggressive action on a hand is required to show first if the river is checked down."

I said I recall the rule at the Borg is "last aggressor on the river, if the river is checked then it becomes clockwise from the left of the button". (note that this does not mean the last agressor... the last aggressor could have been on the flop for example).

The Jeff responds with "Yes. The last aggressive action in the hand has to show first....at least this is how it's enforced in the games I play in and dealers, etc. are pretty adamant about it." - Jeff seems to be agreeing with me, yet his interpretation of the rule is different from mine.

Just trying to remove the confusion...

You're saying that if the river is checked through then the first player left of the button shows first. Jeffage is saying that the last aggressor, regardless of which street he was the aggressor on, must show first always on the river.
