Let me say first that I like to experiment with different plays and im sorry I had to reveal the result.

Preflop: My position is great loose player on the right - super tight on the right. I raise against a random hand and I expect to take advantage of MP being weak and predictable post flop

Postflop: I am not sure but I think I get good odds to steal against a rock in both streets. He either has an ace overcard or not. It's unlikely he has a 6 and he is likely folding a low PP. What I hold is not important as my purpose is to push him off and not to go to SD. I would give up on the turn if it wasnt J,A and 4 or 6.

Just going through my thought process at the time and not trying to prove I was right. (Obviously I was )

[/ QUOTE ]

Preflop: you have a hand that is worse than a random hand, and even in the likely event that you will knock out the tight BB, you are OOP against a moron who will likely call you down with anything.

PostFlop: the guy is vpip=70, but now you are calling him a rock. wtf? your thought process has me utterly confused.

When BB calls pf that is the last $ i put in w/out a real hand. Our isolation didn't happen and you're just wasting money. Also, judging by your rude response you seem to be in a pretty bad mood- dwindling BR due to plays like these the cause?

This is your first poker related reply to my posts so please keep it on. As for being in a bad mood b/c of losing:

You have matured past a stage that many of us still struggle with.

You are no longer results oriented. Congratulations!1

Awesome! We can now coin a new phrase....

Reverse Isolation (ree-vers)(i-sol-a-shun) - raising with a weak holding for the intent of getting heads up with a better hand.

As sarcastic as this post is, it really puts the debate in perspective, doesn't it?

I'll be happy to accept. I need some more experimentation first

Some of the most popular posts are regarding "Internet poker is rigged" and "No one can beat the low-limit chasers". I wonder why that is...

If he's tight, he probably didn't call you with nothing on the flop. He's probably got either a decent hand or draw and usually isn't going anywhere.

Also, the isolation is retarded. You're out of position with a hand with little showdown value & trying to get it HU against a loose passive player. PLease tell me you don't do this very often.
