Default No, REALLY Fear The Tuan

"With the board showing 9-8-6-Q-Q, Tuan Le bets out for $250,000, and Bo Sehlstedt calls, showing pocket tens. Tuan Le shows J-10 for the straight on the turn, and picks up a very large pot, giving him a total of about $2,000,000 in chips."

Latest hand:

Ferguson Takes a Huge Pot From Tuan Le

Log: Tuan Le raises to $60,000 preflop from the button, and Chris Ferguson raises it to $200,000 even. Tuan Le calls. The flop comes 10s-4c-3s, Ferguson checks, Tuan Le bets $200,000, and Ferguson calls. The turn card is the Qd, and Ferguson checks again. Tuan Le bets $200,000 again, but this time Ferguson thinks for 3-4 minutes before pushing all in for roughly another $600,000. Now it's Tuan Le's turn to think, and he ponders the situation for several minutes before mucking his hand. Chris Ferguson wins the million-dollar pot, and increases his chip stack.

mentor:
A wise and trusted counselor or teacher.

www.dictionary.com

seems pretty accurate, based on barry's post.

oh, another thing....Why did it say something like "mentored by Barry Greenstein" or whatever? This kid is the polar opposite of Barry as far as playing style.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm not quoting here at all but in aprevious thread concerning this fella Barry said that he talked to Tuan several times and gave him some advice on tourneys.

[/ QUOTE ]

so, WPTE, for the sake of having something else to slap on the screen, took the liberty of making it sound like Barry was teaching him to play. Sounds about par for the course.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well Barry responded to that thread talking about a "mentor" status. I can't quote any of it except that I remember Barry never said it was completely false.

Hopefully we can get barryg1's comments on Tuan's play at the final table.

If there is ANYONE to say anything about Tuan, it should be him. As opposed to some stereotyping bigots that spread their ignorance on these forums.
