Re: 15-30 flop decision
I think Mike I. had 66. He knows that by 3-betting pre-flop Michael is likely looking for the c/r. By leading out, he increases the odds of getting calls from the limpers between CO and Michael rather than checking it through and allowing CO to bet and Michael to raise.

Re: 15-30 flop decision
Isn't Mike's play most consistent with a hand like A6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], or A3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]?

Re: someone read my hand
I don't really know much at your PF limping standards, and there can't be many hands that fall into the range that you would then call 3 cold, knowing its probably going to get capped behind you.
Denying MD and the PF capper the chance to iso just the three of you by leading into the fish stuck in the middle suggests a hand that wants action, a lot of it. Would you limp w/ A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] here and not cap preflop? That or AA/99/88 are the only hands I can think of, aside from the obvious 77, which i'm guessing isn't it. lf |

Re: someone read my hand

"he has a set." no i didnt. [/ QUOTE ] I put you on a very tiny range of 77-44 when I first read this hand given the action thus far. But adding in the "West Coast" factors I assume you know everyone is calling, so a suited connector or suited Ace is probably well in the range. Thus, your range is wide open to me since there are lots of hands I would jam up this flop with but not call two more cold since I play on the nitty East side... but you might. So I *shrug*. |

Re: someone read my hand
Well, this is exactly how I would play flush cards. I guess my question is... WTF? How juicy is this game for you to be limping UTG with flush cards? But whatever, in MD's shoes, I 3-bet hoping to knock out the two limpers and then lead out the turn. Why? Because the worst thing in the world would be if the turn was checked around. We can't let that happen.
BTW, I too have been convinced to drop QQ after a PF cap and a bet and raise on the flop only to learn that ATo capped and J8s 3bet. CSC |
