Why do these threads always turn into a "movies I really like" thread? There should only be a handful of must-have DVDs, and a majority of DVDs listed here are not must-have at all. The only one I can think of that absolutely every movie lover's collection should contain: Pulp Fiction.

i have so many dvds that i've bought and literally never watched, i hate it. i'm really beginning to think that there are MAYBE 10 dvds i should actually own.

The Fifth Element--superbit edition Best PQ and DD 5.1 sound you will find, a great DVD to demo your system.
Another would be Blackhawk Down for the same reasons
