I took a long time to get them -- I got 2 -- but man, it was the best decision I ever made.

yes I have one, but am working on getting a second one. Due to problems I can't get one yet...Problem is that after the Empire bonus I was still down 14 bucks. My rule is that I have to win the money at poker before I can add anything to my computer. My other moniter is a Sony V95something 19" LCD it is great for web surfing but the tables overlap by 1/2. The Sony was 600 bucks (with 100 dollar rebate) and Dell's are cheaper than that, with coupons. I didn't think of getting the Dell until after I had already purchased my new computer.

I didn't think a Dell 2001fp was that big a deal...I was wrong. It is the best monitor I have ever had. I can't wait to get another. I need a good reload bonus that is dam Party related. I never do any good with Party. Suck out after suck out just kills me.

I have a 19" CRT that I am happy with. If I decide to add four more tables, I might get a 2001fp, or another monitor with similar specs because I don't think I could fit two giant monitors on my desk.

Well, saving $600 on a monitor hardly justifies going from 0 to 30% tax on all my poker winnings.

0 tax on poker winnings? Dam i'm moving there. To hell with all the bikini clad women here. To hell with warm weather year round. I am so ready for natural blondes, instead of the fake bubble heads down here.

But the fishing is too good here. I can't do it.

The UK doesn't tax poker winnings either, and you don't have to learn a new and rather hard language there.

[/ QUOTE ]Has anybody switched from a high-res setup to 2001fps? I'm currently running 2 21" monitors at 1800x1440 each. If I were to switch to 2001fps, I'd LOSE screen space.

Guys who are gushing, is the 2001fp better 'cause it's big, or better 'cause it's crisp?

they're prettier, and having expensive things around makes me feel not so bad when I have a crappy session. also, they go very nicely side by side. there's not much space between the two screens
