he got cocky and said 10 minutes instead of one day. That was the dumb part of the bet.

wow...much closer than I thought. You easily could have done it in 15-20 min. and I'm sure that they would have taken it. You should have negotiated better...nice try.

Your biggest mistake was pushing to failure a few times. That makes recovery take longer.

Why didn't you just do 5 reps every minute? You probably would have made it.... You'd be prepping your muscles rather than fatiguing them... The sets would actually be getting easier until the last 3 or so...

No you can't. If you could, this wouldn't have been hard.

Sorry BeerMoney you're wrong. There is a huge difference between strength and endurance. Most people that can bench 335 could not bench 225 50 times in 10 minutes.

I guess I'm the only one that actually thought he would do it.

I agree that 5 reps per time is the way to go. I honestly think I could do this.

And you can only do 225 12-13 times??? My guess is your spotter was touching the weight for you when you did that 335.

I can only do 275(thats with the spotter not touching it in any way) but I can do 225 close to 10 times.
