Im on a large city fire department, and I have people on the job when they meet me say things like "oh, your the guy who has the gambling problem". The funny thing is I hate to bet on things, and I usually wont even buy a spot on those "boards" that go around for NCAA, or NASCAR..what ever. To me that is just pissing money away (I have no edge in sports betting or...really..anything but poker)
Just makes me laugh...so my point, I dont think I have a problem because I try to only get involved with an edge. and if that is a problem, I am ok with it.

I've got $50 that says I'm not addicted to gambling. I've got another $50 that says that 75% or more of online players are addicted to gambling.

I can definately say im addicted to poker, and if you call if gambling..then maybe i have a gambling addiction. But when i go to the casino, i have no urge or need to play anything else, I will wait 4 hours in the casino watching other players piss there money away at various games, while i patiently wait for my seat so i can grind it out. I dont consider this a problem, i have a pretty addictive personality, anything i really enjoy, i become addicted to, kiteboarding, mountainbiking, poker. All things that have totally occupied my life at one point or another. I cant imagine giving up poker, its just too profitable. That said, it definately took away too much time from my school work this year. just my thoughts.
