Angels look like a [censored] joke. Guerrero has been pathetic for two straight postseasons now.

[/ QUOTE ]

imagine how much the yankees would have been criticized if they had brought in guerrero because of his subpar postseasons. but they didn't and they have been criticized for not doing so.

either way everyone would have criticized the yankees.

[ QUOTE ]
If they get the call right in game 2 the game goes into extra innings where the Angels definitley have the better bullpen.

[/ QUOTE ]
Whether they have the better bullpen or not is up for debate to start with. To say the Angels is "definitely" better is extremely presumptuous. But remember, the Angels bullpen had been in the game since the 5th inning, and the White Sox had been unused to that point, with Buehrle likely to come out for the 10th also. He had only 99 pitches through 9. The Sox definitely had the advantage in that game, even if it had gone to extra innings.

[ QUOTE ]
Last nights two missed called took all the wind out of the Angels.

[/ QUOTE ]
I think that having to constantly play from behind a team with a rock solid pitching staff is what takes the wind out of you. The Angels failures with the bat this series surely doesn't make it likely that anything would have developed from the catcher's interference call. Gimme a break -- it was a 6-run win.

This is the only comment made so far during Game 5 (in the 8th).

There seems to be far less interest in this series than the last two Red Sox - Yankees series. Does anybody know the TV ratings for each series?

3 outs away...

As well as Contreras has done, I really want to see Jenks or Hermanson out there for the 9th. Oh, and Crede is awesome.

I don't know the ratings, but this one is not as thrilling. Hence not as many posts. Just seems like the sox are playing a lot better right now. Not much to talk about.

If the White Sox win tonight, it will be interesting to see how their bullpen reacts to not pitching at all in nearly a week and a half.

The World Series doesn't start until next Saturday. Most of the White Sox relievers have been sitting on their butts for white a while.

2 run lead now, hope they get enough so 9th isn't a big concern who pitches.
