Stapp is still alive and well...

[/ QUOTE ]

BLASPHEMER. This is like worshipping a false idol. Scott Stapp is not in this group!!! What a joke, and they're even listing Creed's accomplishments like they had anything to do with it. Look at this excerpt from their "News" page:

[ QUOTE ]
The evolution of Mark Tremonti, Scott Phillips and Brian Marshall as artists is marked with the debut of Alter Bridge. After selling 30 million albums worldwide, Creed has called it quits and its members have chosen to pursue new creative directions. Over three albums, Creed achieved countless industry accolades, had two # 1 albums, and played to millions of fans around the world.

[/ QUOTE ]

Look, I don't know where to begin. First off, these pagans, whoever they are, are not Creed. This is like saying Wings were the Beatles just because Paul McCartney was in them. Totally not the same! Secondly, WHAT THE [censored]? Creed's accomplishments are their own. These hooligans have done nothing at all; it would be like me putting "Doctor of Organic Chemistry, M.I.T." on my resume simply because I have a friend who is one. Okay, maybe you know Scott Stapp, but you did not sell 30 million records and perform "in front of millions of fans around the world", HE DID THAT.

I am outraged and merely looking for a contact page so I can tell these horrible people what's on my mind.

This song is unbelievably good. I just discovered it this weekend, after listening to the Garden State soundtrack. Unfuckingreal.

Zero 7's production is flawless for their genre and their choice of female vocalists is great.

This was one of those songs that I listened to at least once a day for 10+ days. #26. I have seen, simple things, somersault, speed dial #2, and warm sounds also rock hard tasty abs.

"Well I just heard the news today
It seems my life is going to change
I closed my eyes, begin to pray
Then tears of joy stream down my face "

I think that's how we all felt on that fateful day. Unfortunately, in this case, they were tears of despair, not joy.

Wakko, while the band is no longer together, their message is forever enduring. Also, Scott Stapp is working on a solo album. I can only imagine how inspiring that will be. Keep the faith and maybe our prayers will be answered and we will be rewarded with more of this great spiritual rock. In the moving words of Creed, "I cry out to God seeking only his decision."

I know it's tough to go on, but just do what I do whenever things get rough. Crank up the stereo and just listen:

"Can you take me higher?
To the place where blind men see
Can you take me higher?
To the place with golden streets

Up high I feel like I'm alive for the very first time
Set up high I'm strong enough to take these dreams
And make them mine"

Thank you, Diablo, for your inspiring words. This truly hit home for me. We all live with this loss every day, but we should keep Scott's voice and message close to our hearts. If we do, everything will pretty much work itself out.

You're [censored] kidding me! This is GREAT NEWS. I can't even begin to think how truly awesome a band consisting only of Scott Stapp will be. Does he play all the instruments on it? (I really hope so.)

That one is pretty cool.

Zee. First off, I'm impressed. Overall, v. nice list. Some overexcitement w/ certain bands, but that is excused due to your youth.

[ QUOTE ]
Green Day - Basket Case

[/ QUOTE ]

I think there might be a better Green Day song for this list.

[ QUOTE ]
Local H - Bound for the Floor (I expect multiple people to errata their lists and add this song after seeing it on my list)

[/ QUOTE ]

All the Kids are Right is a better choice.

[/ QUOTE ]

I was mistaken, Zee was right. I got titles confused here. Bound for the Floor is the best Local H choice. All the Kids are Right is number two.
