AHHH, no I don't pronounce these the same way, haha.

My mind went blank while reading it originally, I guess.

I prounounce polish as PAW-LISH, and Polish as PO-LISH.

I just wasn't thinking of the lowercase version as a verb or noun in that sense, but rather as just a lowercase version of Polish.
