And only listen to these 25 for the rest of your life, what are the 25 you select for your eternity?

[/ QUOTE ]

This is so easy:

1. Creed - My Own Prison - A man in crisis. Powerful song.
2. Creed - What's This Life For - A timeless question, posed by one of the greatest songcraftsmen of our time.
3. Creed - Sister - Fine memories of all the crazy head I used to get in college with this song playing softly in the background.
4. Creed - Higher - Can you take me higher? Well, can you? Jesus sure can. Can you?
5. Creed - Never Die
6. Creed - With Arms Wide Open - Nothing more beautiful than doing a couple hash bottle tokes, sitting back, and putting this super-sweet melody on.
7. Creed - In America
8. Creed - My Sacrifice - I have made many sacrifices in my life to get to where I am today. Mostly small animals...
9. Creed - Inside Us All
10. Creed - Torn
11. Creed - Ode
12. Creed - What If - Off the Scream 3 soundtrack, often overlooked but a definite classic.
13. Creed - I'm Eighteen - Another classic soundtrack showing (The Faculty) from the best band of all time.
14. Creed - Pity For a Dime
15. Creed - Say I
16. Creed - Faceless Man - I think this is about that dude Madonna played in Dick Tracy.
17. Creed - Are You Ready - I sure am!
18. Creed - Illusion
19. Creed - Unforgiven
20. Creed - Who's Got My Back? - I'm pretty sure the answer to this is "God", but it could be a really buff dude or someone with some kind of handgun too.
21. Creed - One Last Breath - Great showing from their most recent album. Can't wait for the next disc to drop.
22. Creed - Lullaby - A great hard-rocking song to fall to sleep by. Play this one LOUD.
23. Creed - Signs - Some say Tesla did this one better. Not me.
24. Creed - Young Grow Old - This is mostly true.
25. Creed - Higher - This appears twice because it is the best.

Tragedy

Alas, we won't get the chance. I remember the dark day I found out. It brought back memories of hearing about bands like The Pixies and Guns N' Roses breaking up. Those of us who so dearly love the spiritual rock of Creed can only hope that they will someday get back together.

You're kidding me! Is MTV.com a reliable source?

This is much worse than any of those breakups though. I can't believe this news!

This may very well be my last post on any internet forum, ever. I am at a loss for words, beside myself with grief. The lilting voice of a mister Scott Stapp singing me to sleep was all that helped me get through these dark winter days. Now, as the man himself would say, what's this life for???

Heartbroken,

- A.P.
