Re: \"Dear bison...\" OR \"Let me help you help me help you\"
Dear Bison,
I am in the third week of my final term as a freshman at the University of Oregon. I've really enjoyed it here, and have met a lot of really cool people as well have learned a lot about myself...etc... I also have been very succesful with women here. I'm worried about what to do when I go back home. I'm going to be working full time. Even though I go to the same school as many kids that I went to high school with and live in my town, there is only one or two that I ever see at the university. This was by choice, as I wanted to really branch out and was essentially tired of high school, (I went to a school with a lot of money, and there is a lot of drama that ensues when every kid is spoiled and told they are the greatest by their parents). All my guy-friends are still pretty cool and we keep in touch and have a great time, but what should I do about meeting girls when I'm at home? I'm 19 and am going to be living with my parents and my two siblings. Thanks. |

Re: \"Dear bison...\" OR \"Let me help you help me help you\"
Dear Bison,
After graduation I plan on taking a break before grad school. For work I am considering either teaching high school english or teaching english in a foreign country. The pay will be similar and is not a factor. I love the idea of living on a foreign country again and believe it would be very fulfilling and exciting. However, after graduation I know my friends will slowly begin to move away and pursue different career oppurtunities. I would like to spend time with them while we are still young. This decision has me torn. Any ideas? Thanks, Funk |
