[ QUOTE ] Did that black guy in the White Sox MLB commercial just say "the white sox represent the colored man"? [/ QUOTE ] I didn't see this but was it a Fox commercial? If so, I'd believe it. They'll do anything to make (White) Sox fans look ignorant. [/ QUOTE ] The White Sox represent the "Common Man"... |

Re: ****THE Official ALCS CHISOX vs. LAA Thread****
This thread is a lot more quiet since the Sox decided to go ahead and dominate this one from jump.
The umps didn't play a role in this one folks. That was the excuse the other night for not giving credit to Buehrle. Where's the due that Garland deserves? 27 innings played in this series -- 26 innings pitched from the Sox starters, and Contreras started the 9th in his start. I don't remember seeing pitching performances this strong in a while. |

[/ QUOTE ] That's because Angels fans would only know to post in this thread if the Jumbotron told them to. Good night by Garland though. Thanks for being a total bust in fantasy baseball for me like 3 years straight, before breaking out this year. |

[ QUOTE ] Since the Ump called the batter out... [/ QUOTE ] No he didn't. He even said he didn't. How dare you question the ump. He was there, you weren't. [/ QUOTE ] I just wanted to say that this is an awesome gimmick acct |

Re: ****THE Official ALCS CHISOX vs. LAA Thread****
garland pitched great. He was looking tired in the 7th, but he pulled it back together and got the complete game. As usual the sox defense was spot on tonight. All we have to do is win one more in cali and we will have this series on lockdown, and we will have our first WS since 59. pretty [censored] sweet if you ask me

We have a big advantage for tommorrow's game too. |

[/ QUOTE ] I caught the very end of the ESPN Radio broadcast last night & the post game host said that the last time a team has consecutive starters go 8 innings in the post season was Saberhagen & some other guy for the Royals way back in 1985. |
