Everything seems to be working fine now.
I think the hottest for the day stats are messed up. Things started to act weird late last night. It was saying we were 3rd in total votes. We were 2nd for the day with over 600 votes. And this was after maybe 3 hrs when they reset the numbers. It is just a bug and it will fix itself. Keep voting all is well. We are in the top 60 overall now, which is sweet. It will be hard to improve our overall rank from here on in. Our goal should be to improve our rank by about 5 per day till we hit the top 20. Then try and move up 1 rank per day. It is going to be hard from here on in but if we keep the pace we have been going at things should work out. We need a list of the ideas we want to try and we need people with the skills to get them done to step up and do them. Some people are crazy voters and some people are good at the networking and advertising parts. Some are good at both I bet. This is the time to increase the amount of people on our team. While at the same time continuing to do most of the voting ourselves. 1. Send emails to everyone on your friends list and tell them to tell as many people as they can. 2. We need a group of 5 people to make a post that does not sound like blatant spam. And then get it posted on as many forums as possible. Bulletin boards also 3. We need a web designer to make the web page that will go at voteforforest.com. 4. We need a trustworthy person to receive funds to be used for advertising. I'm chipping in for sures. I trust the OP enough but I will let others decide. 5. Print out those fliers and stuff from the voting page and leave them lying around the office or coffee room. 7. Put the voting link in all your online profiles. 8. Quote this and edit my ideas as needed plus continue to add your ideas here if you have them. If you do one of the above tasks tell the OP or someone so we know it has been done and no one wastes time doing the same thing later. Our pace is very good but I expect the top 5 to increase their pace near the end. So we need to prepare now or get wiped out later when it counts. Would be better also if we had someone in charge of the planning as I can't find my way out of a paper bag most days. But I thought I would try and get our ideas together and try and focus our effort as I feel it is the most important part if we are going to stay strong for 40 days. Voting like a madman today will be gone all day thursday with work. I shall return! Here is the voting link so you can get there easy.
