Calling her: Completely ok.
Telling about the bet: Breaking universal male codes, but more like senselessy lame than big evil conduct (as Pittm kind of made it look like).

looking a girl up online from a message board is ok?

[/ QUOTE ]

No. This is clearly stalker territory. It almost makes me want to start a Free PITTM! campaign.

Calling her, as he has her number, is probably ok. Telling her about the bet is truly poor form. There's no good that can come of it.

Maybe I am a weirdo too, but I went via 3 of her relatives to get the phone number of a girl that I met just briefly and fell for (I realized it just after she left). She was very charmed by this effort and we became together.

Incredibly lame. Finding out her work number is the worst thing he did? That's weird but it's for mslif to deal with. If this is the whole story then it's a gigantic anticlimax.

PITTM is a douchebag.

But you met her right? Big difference in looking up some girl you know only through a forum. I mean if you want to get to know someone that's what PM's are for, from which you can ask for a number. I think its extremely creepy, and him being married makes it even weirder. Thinman was a piece of [censored] himself but he may have been right about some things

Thanks. I'd like to thank... no-one!

I still said it first - nyerrrr! (keeping with the tone of this thread)

Actually, this was a bet on how good she looked? Not who'd [censored] her first or anything?

Wouldn't 'how good she looked' be a helper not a blocker?

Why on earth would you bother calling her about that!

Im wondering what good he thought would come of it?

So DieBitter, you just won the Award, what WILL you do next?

btw, I think this is pretty clearly over the limit, Finn, your situation is different, you used family members, I assume he searched the net. Gonna feel less genuine that way, oh and this girl actually cared for you in a romantic way.
