After winning a pot by hitting a river card Mike Matusow was very happy. "I'm a super star," Matusow exclaimed. Matusow finished his little speech by saying, "I'm gonna change my last name to Ivey at the end of the tournament." No matter what his name is, Matusow has a ton of chips.

Got to love it!!! Matasow is hilarious when he is on one of his rushes... In the past though Mike often gets riding to high and makes a mistake...

Does he have 2.5 or 3.5 million, wondering cardplayer got it wrong saying 2.5... he was at 3.1 on the prior update. Can't believe they wouldn't post a large pot he actually lost...

I am officially a Mike Matusow convert. A week ago, I wanted him to bust in 5700th place, right behind Dutch Boyd, Josh Arieh, Vinny "Vin" Vinh, and Scott "the forehead" Fischman. And then I wanted him to walk outside the casino and fall into a giant metal vat of lava (GMVoL).

But after following his progress via web logs (like the pathetic shell of a man I am) I must say ... I like this guy. He's a jackass, but I like that. Hope he wins.
