This will all be wasted if this effort does not spread into many more online forums (or other creative ways to increase participation). Not even in the Top 5 Hottest right now, which means that while Forest is gaining against the pack, it is losing ground to everyone that matters.

Exactly what i was thinking. I posted this to all of the forums I visit but the rest of them are very low volume compared to OOT. Lets pool the OOT brain power and build a website to get some votes. Did anyone ever see the save toby website? we need something like that.

i'll be sad for all the little kids that tried really hard to get their school to win, and then lose because someones dad was sneaky enough to go to an online poker forum to get the help of people with addictive personalities.

oh well, back to voting and clicking stuff!

Sebring Middle School is first in votes for today. They are picking on our elementary school kids! I'm almost sure we are on the right side this time. My judgement suks though.

I voted quite a bit but then I hit an ugly run of verification codes. Some days you just cant catch the codes.

This is the funniest thing I've read in a long time.

I'm going to put a link in my AIM profile and away message.

You are right but we must keep it positive as we just started and are doing great! Momentum is very important as we need to keep this going for 43 days! People are not going to join unless they feel we are going to stick it out all the way. Once we crack the top 50 or so it will be easier to widen our scope of influence. This first part of becoming a legit contender will be the hardest part. And we are really kicking ass so far. Just keep voting the kids need to sleep sometime!!

This needs to stay on the front page. We're at 117 right now and I'd like to see us break 100 by the end of the day.

Meet with the school's principal. Get an assembly put together and give all the kids flyers to hand out. Send letters to the parents. These people have a lot to gain and should be easy to motivate. Make it a coordinated effort.
