I'm based in the UK and play in the evenings only, which is during the day in the US. I'd be interested to see if I'm up against relatively tougher opponents.

Looking at my stats, I've currently played 86 Party SNGs, nearly all in the evening GMT. If the games are tighter, wouldn't we expect the average game to last longer? The average so far is around 30 minutes, 42 minutes for games where I finished ITM.

I find the games I play in the mornings (EST in USA) last close to an hour. Way too boring for me when they drag like this! I like playing at night when the tourneys last about 35 to 40 minutes.

Is that on party?
I've played a few on stars, and they are taking around the hour mark.

i play 50+5 sng's pretty regularly and the average tournament that you money in takes a little under an hour. as a whole, i'd say the average time for a solid player is about 45-50 minutes.

i have been primarily playing during the day, so i'm very curious how much stronger daytime play is than night. i don't think i'm an unbelieveable poker player by any stretch, but i haven't figured out how people have been achieving such roi's. it seems strange that someone would be twice as good as me.

You will be playing some of the tougher SnGs

If you can, try playing early in the morning (before 9am GMT) or late at night (after 11.30pm GMT).

Default So how do you beat the day time players?

no doubt about it, i have tracked my results and i cannot beat the weekend early am (4 am - noon west coast time)....although i win regularly on the weekday eve's (playing only on Stars).

does anyone have any advice on how to alter my strategy on the tougher weekend games? they definitely go longer and it's common to have blinds of 200/400 with 6-7 players, most of them have stacks of 1,000 - 2,000. How do you win consistently if you're constantly putting all your chips in on coinflips?

thanks!
