Re: friendliest vegas poker rooms?
Having played at both Bellagio and the Mirage as well as several other places, I think the Mirage is nicest. The waiting lists for 3/6 are short, the low-limit games are supersoft, the atmosphere is inviting, the staff is friendly, and you can get comped $15 toward your meal if you've been playing for a few hours when 7 p.m. or 4 a.m. roll around.
As for NL, I like the 1/2 at Excalibur and the 2/4 at Bellagio. Both are 50 BB capped games. Excpect regular players as well as fish in both cases. The 1/2 at Excalibur was incredibly fishy with a few rocks. The 2/4 was a great game, but I only played one day due to the excessive waiting list. Get there early for that one. |

TDon't worry about appearing like a newbie and forget about your table image. [/ QUOTE ]My friend mrpurple claims that my somewhat clumsy card and chip handling, coupled with the politeness I show dealers and floor staff, help establish my table image as a "tourist". All the better. |
