Im in the same boat as you sonataarctica. I'm 19 and live in Vegas. I drove out to Casino Morongo to play some poker. Its in a town called Cabazon, outside of LA. Poker room is okay, games are super easy, but tournaments there suck imo. Go to their website, casinomorongo.com
My next trip is going to be viejas. Its near SanDiego so for me it's a further drive but tournaments look waaaayyyy better.

Why go to Morongo...isn't Agua Caliente like an hour closer?
It's a decent room...very soft games, don't know about tourneys.

Caliente is about 1/2 hour further east and they only have a month-end player-points freeroll. No other tournies.

So what is the deal with Indian casinos? At least here in Washington we have the Clearwater Casino which is on a Indian Reservation and is 18 and over with $500 betting limits. Then there are the mini casinos above the bowling alleys that are 18 and over with $100 betting limits. Those DONT appear to be on indian reservations. How come they are 18+?

Then there is the Muckleshoot Casino which is 21+ which is an Indian Casino (although I'm not sure if its ON the reservation)...how can the Indians have a casino not on there reservation? So confusing..
