Default Re: $15-$1k quest on Pokerstars.

Your win rates are
.5/1 = 75 BB/hr
1/2 = 32 BB/hr
2/4 = 570 BB/hr
3/6 = 24 BB/hr
5/10 = 46 BB/hr
10/20 = 60 BB/hr

What am I missing here?

Is this just an incredibly lucky run or is this just a great poker player at work?

THIS is neat.

The 6-max tables at Stars are one of my favorite diversions when I need a change of pace. Depending on the table, you can fire away with nearly any pair and get someone with A-hi or K-hi merrily calling away. Win two big hands like this, and that's your 15 BB.

I've got $50 at Stars right now... if i need to take a break from my ongoing UltimateBet Bonus Death March, this could be a fun way to burn a couple hours.

so i'm assuming you are going to quit your job to play 4 tables of $2/4 right? assuming you play 40 hours a week for 48 weeks, you'll have made $17,510,400 in your first year alone! good luck to you

Lucky run, not to say that he isn't necessarily a great player.

Spicy,
You have too much time on your hands. Get back into the big game and stop all this nonsense.

I will assume Spicy is a little bit better player then me, so I wont use his BB/hr exactly, but even taking half his number should give me something like 8 mil my first year.

Probably more like 10-12 if I can do 6 tables. Of course I will need a bigger monitor as my 17" is pretty full with two tables, course with the money I will make this should be easy.

I dont see any problem with this, do you?

actually i just realized something, spicy will get better over time as he adjusts to playing 4 tables at once at $2/4, he will begin to pick up reads, etc, I'm thinking each month his BB/hr will probably raise by about 100 BB/hr per month if he can keep up this incredible rate, and no doubt that he will, because anyone with a 570 BB/hr win rate obviously has tons of room to improve, anyone want to calculate what his total will be after year 1 if he improves 100 bb/hr every month?

I will revise my statement that I haven't been unlucky in the quest yet to be moderatly lucky. But consider that I only need to win so few bets at each limit, pure aggression can actually take me to the next level.
