Hi astro LOL. I ended up losing 80 bucks for the day after CT and SB both went broke [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img].

However,

On this particular hand, your Babe did call the extra 40. I actually was less concerned about CT (who could easily have something like 9,10 suited) than I was about sb. I thought it more likely sb might have a suited A,7 or 77 for the 10 high straight. However, since sb did not 3 bet the river, I was not certain he had it. [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

CT had 7,8 offsuit and sb had pocket 7s. Obviously, these guys enjoy calling 3 bets when behind and then picking up a draw to river the Babe. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Maybe tomorrow I will win the 1K pot on the river......

Vs. 2 opponents here in a big pot, I am not giving any opportunity for the turn to be checked through. Also, in general I am not a fan of checking when I have the best hand.

No such animal exists becuz overly suggests too loose. And there is no "too loose" 20-40 game by Clarkys standards!

God you shoulda seen our 20-40 last nite. It was already wild when Monaeymaker jumped in. Now 60% of the pots were 20+ big bets by the turn, instead of just 40%.

Like 6 ways for a 6 bet cap(straddled) and unimproved pocket 9's drag it after a cap on a ragged flop 4 ways, 2 bets 3 ways turn, 1 bet 3 ways river. over and over again all nite long.

Yup, overly does suggest "too" loose here. And...for 10am on a Monday morning at Mirage, this was a doozy.

Overly loose for that game would look something like this per orbit:

1 three-way flop
2 two-way flops
4 blind steals
3 chops

How close is the preflop call here? Lots of limpers, but you'll probably lose some to the 3-bet, and/or there's a good chance this sucker's gonna get capped in which case you're paying 3 more BBs to play your 33 out of position.
